So, I managed to get back to Europe safe and sound. Spent a few days in Kuala Lumpur before jetting back to London. The end of an amazing journey, and the start of another one. I am back in Sweden now, spending a bit of time with my family. My grandmother passed away last week in an accident. It still feels unreal. I was in Kuala Lumpur when I got the news, spent a few days in a sort of vacuum.
My four days in London were hectic but great, got my mind of things! I got to see loads of lovely people that I haven’t seen in ages. I also managed to squeeze in a visit to the Frontline Club. They were screening of Shooting Robert King by Vaughan Smith and Richard Parry. An interesting insight into the career of the photojournalist Robert King. They followed him for 15 years. Starting of in Sarajevo 1993 and ending up in Iraq in 2007. You meet the young and naive art student old with dreams of the Pulitzer Prize and see him change into a savvy hardened war journalist. An interesting watch for the hobby psychologist or anyone interested in the results of war. Have a look at the promo below.
